We're paying that cat too much

I just saw a mouse. We share this house a cat who weighs more than twenty pounds, yet mice (because as Carl Sagan once said, where there's life, there's community) are frolicking beneath my desk.

Garfield reference, anyone? I say 911 is probably in league with the head mouse, working out some deal whereby have-a-heart traps can be left around the house for the mice (and cat) to de-bait at their leisure.

hee hee...I wish I could think of a de-bait/debate pun to put right here.
