And He's Back!

The cat just wandered in and demanded food. Where did he go? What did he do? Whatever it was, he doesn't want me out of his sight. The feeling is mutual.

am so happy he's home. I wonder if he get shut up in a garage and the people were away for the weekend and he didn't get out till this morning and he's sorry and he'll never do it again.

Just this morning Mr Bo pointed out the week-end thing and had that idea. Clever he is, our Mr. Bo.

Anyway, I'm glad he's home and I can stop checking your blog every time I have a second

I dunno. The last I'd seen him was Tuesday night. That's one long weekend!

I think we're going to start blocking the cat door at night -- I can't take the stress of a lost kitten.

And now I understand why we stopped having indoor/outdoor cats all those years ago. And here I thought I just had a Mean Old Mother.

Glad the boy-o is back! Puck has been extra vigilant about feral cats on your behalf - he tells me the early-morning barking we were awakened by the other day could be roughly (ruffly?) translated as: Hey! You! Is your person looking for you? Do you need directions? I think you might live somewhere that is not here. Is that it? Do you need directions? Hey! There was no need for that language, buster!

Of course, he also gently pointed out that no one had asked him for a translation. Pehaps, he postulates, we would have been a little less yell-ish if we had simply asked.

A stickler for diplomacy, that one.
